Nutritional And Scientific Facts PS1000 Diet

This fact sheet provides information on PS1000 Metabolic Burst dietary supplement, including summaries of research on the safety and efficacy of several of the most commonly used ingredients in this product.

Diet and weight management has become more than just something one may consider for over 30 percent of America’s adult population, with forty-six of its states having an obesity rate over 25 percent. The term obesity refers to too much fat in the body and is determined by one’s body mass index (BMI), which compares your weight to your height. Having a BMI ranging between 25 to 29.9 means that you are overweight but not obese; however, over 30 means that one is obese.

There are many health conditions associated with being obese, including: high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, joint problems associated with excess weight, difficulty breathing, sleep apnea, and gallstones.

In an attempt to reduce their weight people have turned to various diets, exercise regimes, or by utilizing some form of weight-loss supplement. These may be either liquids, tablets, or powders, which are usually a combination of many ingredients with varying degrees of efficacy and functions. The use of weight-loss supplements has become commonplace and their use is more widespread for women than for men, at 20.6 percent use and 9.7 percent use respectively.

Weight-loss supplements are usually marketed highlighting various health claims: metabolism boost, appetite suppression, energy increase, body fat reduction, and immune system enhancement. The US Food and Drug Association (FDA) does not regulate weight-loss supplements in the same way they do drugs and foods; but while manufacturers are not required to get approval for marketing, they are expected to ensure that these products are safe and claims are not misleading.

Some weight-loss supplements are supported by clinical trials which show some level of success; some of the ingredients in these supplements do perform as they claim. PS 1000 Metabolic Burst is one such dietary supplement which contains ingredients such as African mango, Maca root and Rhodiola rosea—all of which have shown positive results.

PS 1000 Metabolic Burst is a liquid weight loss supplement which is part of a three-phase weight management system aimed at weight reduction, maintenance, and an overall lifestyle change. This weight loss supplement utilizes a 1000-calorie daily diet aided by supplementation promoting weight loss and continued maintenance.

The first phase lasts for ninety days and the daily calorie intake in this phase is1000, with the supplement being taken once daily. In the second phase, the calorie intake should increase to 1500 per day for the next twenty-one days and the supplement should not be taken. The final phase is a lifestyle change of maintenance.

Several studies have shown that Glutamic acid has proven effective in helping to treat bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety. It also improves brain function, detoxifies the body, improves heart and prostate health, as well as provides energy during strenuous exercise or body building ,due to the ease with which it is absorbed by the body.

Safety

Generally safe at the recommended dosage of between 500-2000mg each day; however, people with neurological disorders, or with liver or kidney disease should be guided by a physician. Side effects are usually mild and include headache and fatigue.

Safety

African mango is safe at the recommended dosage with the most common side effects being gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dry mouth, and sleep disturbance. It is, however, not recommended for individuals already on medication for cholesterol and diabetes, due to its propensity to enhance these drugs.

Recommended safe with relatively mild side effects, which generally include gastrointestinal discomfort such as gas and diarrhea.

Final Thoughts

PS 1000 Metabolic Burst utilizes a full dietary plan which fosters a lifestyle change that is not simply aimed at losing weight but instead is a means of achieving a more holistic lifestyle. PS 1000 covers four of the key areas of weight loss:

  • Fat Burning
  • Appetite Suppressant
  • Metabolism Booster
  • Diet Plan

The area of carbohydrate blocking is addressed by the reduction in calorie intake. Although there have been no clinical trials conducted on the product PS 1000 itself, it should be noted all the ingredients it contains have undergone some level of trials with a relative good degree of success, especially for those ingredients with weight loss benefits. Even with its potential benefits, as with all dietary supplements it is recommended that a health care professional is consulted prior to starting any weight-loss regime.
